Published free allowances, checked September 15, 2026. Counting differs: trulyform counts from the first saved answer, including unfinished responses; Typeform Free counts completed submissions. Paperform’s allowance is advertised as submissions; its partial-response counting rule is not confirmed. These figures aren’t a comparison of completed responses.
Can I really start without an account?
Yes. Choose a template and you’re straight into the real editor. Change questions, try different colors, add logic, and preview your form. Create a free account when you want to save it to your account or publish it.
Will my form be here when I come back?
Your draft saves in the browser you’re using as you edit. Return with the same browser and profile to continue. Browser storage can be cleared, so create an account to keep the form with your other work. A draft saved only in this browser won’t appear on another device.
What happens when I’m ready to publish?
Choose Publish, then sign up with Google or email, or log into your existing account. We’ll keep your edits and bring you back to finish publishing that same form. You’ll receive a link you can share with anyone.
How much can I customize?
Make the questions, choices, order, required fields, colors, fonts, and logic your own, even before signing up. Uploads need an account. Adding your business logo and removing the trulyform badge are included with Business.
What counts as a response?
A response counts once its first nonempty answer is saved, even if the person doesn’t finish. If no answer has been counted yet, completing the form counts once. Continuing or completing that same response doesn’t count again. Views and editor previews don’t count. Deleting a response doesn’t restore the allowance.
Can I see unfinished responses?
Pro and Business include viewing and exporting partial responses. On Free, you see completed responses, while your allowance also counts people who started answering and didn’t finish. You can see your current usage in your account.
What if I reach my response allowance?
People with an already-counted response can still finish. New responses can start collecting answers when your allowance renews or you upgrade for more capacity. We don’t silently charge for extra responses or delete the responses you’ve collected.
